We have some really great kids who need and deserve some additional resources. The money would go a long way to ensuring their academic success.

I worked there for many years. Lots of great teachers and nice students.

I have recently graduated from this school as a class of 2008 honor graduate. Throughout my four years at this school, i was able to observe a lot. Many of the teachers there seem to work just for a paycheck. They do not supply you with adequate information or answer any of your questions. However, i was lucky to come across many teachers who actually want you to understand and love to teach and they are the best. I just think the school needs to be filled with more teachers who want their students to learn instead of just being there and getting paid. The food is good also but it needs a little more variety and as far as the students...Its pretty diverse, thats all i can say

I am a student currently enroled in Lakeland High, and the main focus is on sports and the like. On the afternoon announcments they glorify each teams wins, and neglect to mention anything about clubs. I would like to join the Debate team, but even the school website has nothing about who runs it. I am also tired with my teachers mediocre performances, and the favoritism they show.

I and i current student at Lakeland High School and I feel as if it is not much activity going on.We do the same things they have been doing since the school first opened and I feel it is really time for a change. I have always wanted to join different club and be in different activities but I feel as if their are not of participation or that it may be dominated by on race or a certain social class and i feel that is not fair. I feel that Lakeland has to many social classes and they need to get rid of them.

I attended Lakeland for the 2003-2004 school year and the overall performance of the school was okay. There weren't any variety in which I could participate in. When I wanted to join the debate team the sponsor for the activity never held a second meeting. And this kind of thing happened with a couple other club only if they were available for the students. If I had a chance to go to another school I might consider it, but then again things in the school could be improved if there were more parent/student involvement in the school there would be improvements.

My two sons attended Lakeland High School and both were involved in a sport. Lakeland is a wonderful school and has wonderful academics. The school has a variety of subjects and after school tutoring. My opinion about this school is very high. The teachers and coaches are very helpful with help the children achieve their goals in life. My son has since graduated Lakeland. He is still proud to call Lakeland his school.

This is a student that attends Lakeland highschool. The school needs some improvement. The school activities aren't widely popular in school because students dont know much about them. I think the standards for the honor roll should be brought down so that students have something to strive for. Im a average student and so far the school hasnt given me enough encouragement. If more people make the honor roll, then they have something to strive for. Im in 2 honors classes and still havent made honor, it seems as the goal is to high, especially with me being involved in sports.
